Designers show their Spring collections in New York Fashion Week, alluding upcoming trends for Prom season 2023. After the release of the popular netflix drama Bridgerton season 2, it seems designers have taken influence from the Regency era. Designs such as florals, ruffles, draping, corsets, and puff sleeves were popular in the Regency period and have been shown in top designer's fashion shows, such as Sherri Hill. If you prefer a more modern and edgy style, designers are combining bodice cut outs with asymmetrical, criss cross, and deep v necklines to create geometric appeal. Designers take popular trends from past seasons as well and incorporate them with new designs. Designs such as fringe, feathers, and broken glass beading have been carried over from past seasons.
